Good news for travel enthusiasts and train lovers! Keep your travel diary open for the Trans-Asean bullet train that connects you from Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and China.

The “Trans-Asean” bullet train is Thailand’s state plan to make the country as the logistics centre in ASEAN. The land-linked route covers 3,193 kilometers in which will costs Thailand about 2.07 trillion Baht for construction.

The rail route will link Bang Sue with Chiang Mai in the North, Laos in the Northeast, Cambodia in the East and Malaysia in the South.

First phase of the route is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by 2023.
