It’s a student’s life. You juggle with limited funds so much that you reach a point where it also means you will inevitably face the prospects of limited daily nourishment. Hunger decreases productivity and decreased productivity means your academic achievements will be affected. ENTER FOOD BANK MALAYSIA.

This MOF initiative has been designed specifically to allow students with financial difficulties to be continually well fed without ever being worried where their next meal will come from. This is to not hinder their academic potential with issues as basic as daily meals. Its quite simply a life-saver.

11 out of the 20 IPTA students are already benefitting from the Food Bank which translates to approximately 3,740 students that have benefited from the program. Enough said.

But what really got eyebrows up is the fact that our efforts are internationally recognized. We were invited to Davos Switzerland for the Global Food Banking Network Conference to present our working model for the benefit of other nations. And here is another reason to give ourselves a good pat on our backs.
