Towards Visit Malaysia 2020


SEPANG, 22 JULY 2019 – Prime Minister Y.A.B Tun Dr. Mahathir successfully launched the Visit Malaysia 2020 Campaign Logo at KLIA today. The launch was done to promote Malaysian tourism both locally and abroad.  
The Visit Malaysia 2020 logo created by Alfred Phua Hong Fook ,a 23 old who combined typically Malaysian elements to create an aesthetically pleasing composition using the hornbill, the hibiscus and wild ferns. Using colours found on the Jalur Gemilang, this logo is set to impress . The logo reflects our diverse culture, heritage, flora and fauna and also the experience offered by Malaysia as a tourist destination.
The tourism revenue in 2019 is expected increase and surpass the USD21 billion generated last year. With the premise of ‘ A Truly Asian Experience’, 2020 will offer tourists from all over the world a more immersive and impressionable holiday experience from tip to tip. Malaysia is set to be the ideal destination because of its many holiday offerings, political stability and social harmony.
